A Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is a nationally-recognized certification benefiting professionals across all known industries.  J. Osley & Co.'s Lean Six Sigma certification is healthcare-focused, ensuring a thorough and practical understanding of all concepts.

To be eligible for certification, Black Belt candidates must complete the following:

(1) meet minimum class attendance requirements,

(2) successfully complete an exam in the required time frame, and

(3) apply concepts through an operational project.

​

The Black Belt course takes approximately 6 - 8 months to complete the coursework and an appropriately-scoped organizational project. LSS Black Belt candidates will complete a project in tandem with course content to ensure maximum success.

J. Osley hosts this course as a hybrid course that includes three live in-class sessions, various live webinars, and numerous on-demand sessions. Live webinars are pre-scheduled, and dates will be distributed to students upon registration. While a recommended schedule is provided, on-demand sessions are web-based and may be taken whenever the Black Belt candidate chooses.

J. Osley engages with organizations directly to host Lean Six Sigma certification courses via an organizational cohort, and timing can be adjusted as needed to meet the needs of the organization.
